I have a 14.2 hand mustang/paint who I have had 2 years now and I really want to show him. I don;t know where to start though. I like barrels, but it isn't his thing (and I think i'm to heavy for him to run quickly around barrels). Any tips on where I could get started or figure out what we could do?
does anyone know if this is western it doesnt say anywhere
or do i need to go w/a horse whose whole history is known?

I think my horse would love free lunging but i want to know how to do it correctly before i ever try it, can someone give me detailed info on this, its one thing with horses that ive never done before...
My horse is very good on the line , he can do alot of work on it and is almost 100% with vocal commands ... the ring i will be using is not very small so i am not sure if he will get the idea and stay with me or if he will run over to the other side and stop, ive seen free lunging done in a large arena and the horse stays right in the circle around the person, so that is what i am aiming to do..
