i do jumping but i've only ever been taught about crest release. how do automatic release and crest release differ?
I found a pony I really like, hes an 11yo ArabX he's really good and i've ridden him a bunch of times. He's been doing all the classes at the shows that i want to do. He's great!! But when we got the vet check and it turns out he has a chip in his knee and needs hock injections. The people that are selling him won't lower the price from $20,000 so it would be really expensive to get the chip taken out, get hock injections and still pay $20,000! I really like him and im still small enough to ride ponies. Should I see if i can get them to lower the price or just move on? **HELP!** =(
He's done the pony jumpers 3'0 and 3'6 and won at alot of 'A' circut shows.
He's also done Pony Hunters 2'9 & 3'0 and yes i really like him!!!!!
I borrow two horses, which i ride about twice a fortnight. (the times when i am at the place.)
Anyway, one of them used to be really thin untill we wormed him. He took the worming paste quite fine, but now we try to worm he and he wont take it.
He throws his head up, near rears and backs away. we try mixing the paste with honey, bread and mollasusa and none of them work.
Can someone please tell me what to do to make him eat the paste
My horse Lance is always dozing off when i groom him. I have heard that it means that he's relaxed, but none of the other horses at the stables do this. The annoying thing is, that he'll doze off and all of a sudden he'll hear a small noise that will bring him to life again (such as my cell phone) and he'll flip out, because it alarmed him when he was off-guard. Is there a way to keep him awake and aware of his surroundings?
im redecorating my room with a horse theme and so today i bought a horse poster book that has over 60 mini posters in it,i realize i probably wont be able to use them all, but idk how many to put up and how to set it up so it looks cool and not just like a ton of posters crammed on my walls lol, the posters are the size of a regular piece of paper,so how should i do this?
how can i make it look more creative
