sorry that's what the patronising little box on the right suggested i ask (and no little know it all box i will not open spell checker, so don't oops! me) so just wanted to know who has a horse with a limp presently? i ask because my mare slipped in the mud and tore her sesmoid ligament in her off hind and is looking 30 years old right now...30 horse years...not human years oh it's raining
So, i was wondering.. would a hunter/jumpers calf look different (muscle wise..) then a dressage only rider? And what about eventers!? I ask because i had the same pair of tall boots and chaps for my 5 years of hunter/jumper riding. Then, when i got more into dressage (technically eventing with a focus on dressage..) my boots and chaps stopped fitting! (i didn't grow either..) Now whenever i go to put them on they get "stuck" on my calf muscle about halfway up my leg and i was wondering if it is from switching disciplines, or just because i'm weird! Any insight appreciated [= thankss! (and i'm still not used to the new spell check.. its SO annoying! haha)
how much does a smaller type of goat eat? and how much does a miniature horse or similar eat in lbs a day?
how do you introduce a 14.3 hh alpha mare (not very aggressive) to a goat?
HELP! I know nothing of Western Saddles. For the past 18-20 years off and on, all that I've done is 3DE and 1DE competitions. Well... I no longer compete and have moved. My new town is full of Western riders and not one, single English rider. So, instead of getting looked at like I have sprouted another head, I've decided to do the switch, although I haven't the first clue. I did, however, go out and purchase myself a really nice neoprene Wintec western saddle... sooo light! Now question is, my husband is going to look at another saddle. He wants to know if it's going to be a good saddle or not by brand name/make. Are there a few names you can mention to give me some ideas. He doesn't want the cheapest saddle out there, and he also doesn't want to pay $1,000. I know about the Billy Cook saddles, but that's it. I would stay in an English seat, but we are surrounded in hundreds and hundreds of acres of forested Government land, full of hills, rocks, steep inclines and declines, lakes, rivers and streams - no riding rings and no where to do any flat work. Everyone tells me that Western is the way to ride "out there" because it's made for comfort.
