i want to have a bond with my horse but i'm afraid to try join-up. i'm afraid that if i join-up and it doesn't go well then i will have permentally screwed up my horse or scared her. i also don't have a round pen. at this point in time i think that she hates me.
bridle #1- don't know what brand, but i can tell it is easily adjustable. doesn't have a matching brow-band but i could buy a matching one for $5. i don't really like the feel of the reins. it comes with a bit, a nice one but not the one i need to use but i could resell it or give it to my friend who wants it. the bridle is $20. o yeah and where the brow-band attaches the part that goes behind the ears when on the horse is like an inch thick and weird. and the bridle is really dirty but it can be cleaned to look good as new. and its dressage and used
bridle #2- crosby :) easily adjustable. not sure if used or new. holes on the nose-band is a little bit hard to use but im sure that will change. very pretty. an matches my saddle, but so does the other one. $75
or should i buy both? but if i had to pick which one should i choose? or should i get both?
and how do you feel about bareback pads with stirrups. one i saw there was only $20.
For my FFA project I am giving basic horse ridding lessons to beginner riders. I have a lesson horse. possibly two lesson horses actually, one of them would be for someone a little more experienced. Um i charge $10 a lesson. i know its not much but im just starting out and the lessons or probably not all that great. So anyway i want to start giving more people riding lessons. And i want to know some different exercises to teach people to ride. So basically my main question is how should i advertise my riding lessons? and What are some different exercises i can do to help people lear to ride?
I just got a new horse and he lives in a field with about 4 other horses, 2 bays and 2 palominos, he is bay with no makings, I haven't seen the other horses close enough to know if they have markings but if they do how can I tell? I need to know soon, I'm going to be riding him and I don't want to look like an idiot catching the wrong horse haha
I am looking for an equestrian camp to go to during the summer. Does anyone have a link to a really good camp that is near Fort Worth, that rides english, and is still accepting applications? Thanks!
