i have a ton of weeds that need killing and horse, a dog, and chickens that are more useful live than dead. what can i use?
3weeks ago i took him mustering for his first time and he was fine with everthing (not me riding in these photos) http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2431524&imageID=38032861 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2431524&imageID=38033227 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2431524&imageID=38033206 Did plenty of hill work, and walking through very long grass no hassle And well yes everything ive done with him has been over 3months so you can see how much potential he has! He is jumping 80cm, done dressage (at pony club), done mustering, light horse, fine in traffic (bus's etc), very quiet, you can walk under him, beach rides. And he is only 5.5yo!!! Its hard to put a price on him, if i wasnt going to uni i wouldnt be selling. THANKS Okay, Im going to sell this horse in about a month. How much do you think I should sell him for? (In Australia) and how much is he worth? Background Info: Name: Mist Breed: QH, Paint Height: 15.1hh Sex: Gelding Colour: Toffy Bay He is 100% sound and has no vices Training: Broken 3yo Educated in Light Horse Untouched for 2years, then I started riding him --------------------------------------… First ride was 6km (walk) from owners to my place - No problems http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2121517&imageID=35652042 Took him over his first jump, took it easy (40cm) --------------------------------------… So i wanted to see what he would do. I like jumping so thats what i did with him. His first day jumping he was a natural! He lined up the jumps, was scopy, and by the end of the day was judging his own striding (with very little aid form me) Photo's of First Day: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2350346&imageID=35730618 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2350346&imageID=35730721 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2350346&imageID=35730749 --------------------------------------… The following weekend i took him to the pc grounds again- wanted to do more jumping and did a bit of flat work as well (i didnt ask for the bit-but he started coming onto it) Second Day out: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2350346&imageID=36044344 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2350346&imageID=36051001 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2350346&imageID=36050210 --------------------------------------… Rode him once during the week. The following weekend i took him to his first show (3rd day out of paddock). It was his first jump course ever and he knocked one rail (60-70cm class). His second course (next day) he went clear (80cm class) however refused the last jump (wall jump- totally understandable pluss a bit of that was my fault) and the third day he placed!! He also got ribbins in sporting (his first time trying it-2x 1st, 2x 2nd) and hacking (maidan- 2x 3rd). http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2368308&imageID=36418571 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2368308&imageID=36216804 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2368308&imageID=36418576 _-Note- He was NOT clip'd!-_ I wasnt expecting to get anything it was simple a fun day to give him experience. Trail rode him mid week. Did one hour of flat work with him on saturday, he had some probs with flexing but generally was fantasic(transitions etc) ----------------------------------------… Rode him mid week and he had was better then when i left him. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2383657&imageID=36638518 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=140141700&albumID=2383657&imageID=36638514 --------------------------------------… He has done a couple of Pony Club days And a sporting day which he placed 2nd overall (10events) in class under 25years (im 17) Riden on beach - first time there acted like he been there 1000 times before. went swimming --------------------------------------- i dont no y but the addictional notes went at the top?? from here till where it says "THANKS" is ment to be at the end??

okay so im not sure if this is correct but i noticed people put their initials on their barn things like their fly spray and their buckets and what not, but their initials are weird. like if their name is Amy Marie Smith then their initial will be ASM instead of AMS. Also people do this on their saddle pads. so i was just wondering why people switch up the middle name and the last name! i cant seem to figure it out
I usually have no problem getting a horse on the bit, but the problem is, I can't keep a horse on it. I asked for help and one of my instructors told me to soften the reins as soon as the horse does, to reward it, but another one of my instructors told me that I should keep my hands steady, so he won't "escape". I am really confused! Someone help!
