I'm not trying to scare the living daylights out of my pony, but I want her to experience more than just poles set up. Oxers don't bother her either (she likes them better!) When we went to a show, flower boxes didn't phase her at all. But I would love to show her in jumpers and the things in jumpers are little more scary then in hunters. I've gotten the suggestions to use saddle pads (or I think I might use towels, as they are more colorful and larger) to drape over the jumps and maybe as a "liver pool". And also buckets. Common barn items would be better! Thanks!
hi we are kind of tight on money so we cant really afford lessons for both me and my brother. I am really experienced and jumping 2 foot 6 and all he wants to do is lead line and maybe show in a lead line class in 4-H. is he to old for lead line now? plus he still gets nervous being around horses and being on horses but he is also really determined to overcome his fear he just needs help. how can i teach him how to trot and make it fun rather than stressful and frustrating? please reply has soon as possible!! oh btw i own my own 16.2 hand really gentle and bombproof horse as my show horse but jared is still nervous around him please help we are both desperate!!!
Hi, so I found a horse and I really like him, blahhhh.. Anyway, the person who we are buying the horse off recommended a vet, but we're not going to go for it just in case. Does anyone know a good vet in the north west of england, I am based in Cheshire. Thank you
Hi, my friend's horse has severe heaves and I was wondering if Respi-Free product (it is all herbal) would work for him? And does anyone know if it can be given together with steroids or would that harm the horse? Thanks.
i got a very old dressage type english saddle for christmas a couple years ago. i think the tree is broken tho, these are the reasons i think its broken: *it sometimes squeakes like it is rubbing together * when i put my hand on the pommel i can feel every move the horse makes * i can move the tree (like its broken in half) but the saddle doesn't bend in half, it is held together pretty well. is it broken? if it is do i need to buy a new saddle? thanks. sorry no pics of it but i would say it is about 50 years old thanks
