I have been around horses my whole life, and i really want to get one now. my parents said that they would pay to take care of it, and i know they take a lot of time. I KNOW All ABOUT IT ALREADY!!! i just need money making advice. Not advice about horses.
I've been riding for six years now, but I've just recently started taking dressage lessons. I've learned so much more these past few weeks from my dressage instuctor than I ever had from the barn that I used to ride at (English)! My dressage instructor is teaching me how to really use my body to communicate with my horse. However, yesterday when I dismounted my horse after a 45-minute lesson (just walk/trot), my legs almost buckled under me because my knees hurt SO BAD! I didn't feel it on my horse, but I could barely walk for a good twenty minutes after my lesson! Is this normal and are my knees just hurting because I've never actually USED my legs on my horse, or is it because I was doing something wrong (I know I wasn't gripping with my knees- that was the problem that we were trying to fix during that lesson)? Any advice about what I should/shouldn't do, or is this a normal part of riding? Thank you! (:

I'm selling my horse, I need her kinda gone quick thanks to the lovely economy.
People are commonly known in my area for taking 100s horses down to mexico on double Decker trailers to have them slaughtered for meat.
I was just wondering how much meat goes for so I can price her for more then her 'meat price' so no one will profit. Kinda, I hope this makes sense, like I want to sell her for more then her meat is worth, so it will be a monetary loss it to have her slaughtered?
She's about 1000-1200 pounds, in ALABAMA.

She is schooling training level dressage and recently started over fences (2'3''). Planning on using her for upper-level USPC (Pony Club) and eventing up to Novice or Prelim level. She is a project horse (got her for free through my "network" ;) lol)
Please critique her conformation.
