I got home from work at around 10:00pm so I fed my horses their evening feed. At around 10:30pm I went out to let my horses out there stalls. Well my Arabian/Quarter Horse Mare was sweaty on her neck front legs, and back legs. I can't call my vet because it is to late. She has unlimited access to hay, water, and grass. Does anybody know what could of caused it. Also after that I caught her and walked her around my yard she's eating and drinking normal. She's acting normal she's still being her sweet self when I whistle or say her name she comes right up to me and won't leave me(That's how she always is). I've been checking on her every hour since her sweatyness went away.
Does anyone know what could have caused it?
Thanks in advance.
Also she is in shape. She gets exercised about 3 times a week, and gets showed almost every weekend. She's VERY spoiled. I know its not collic, cause when she collics she lays down and rolls and looks at her belly a lot and won't eat. She's colliced once in the 7years I've had her. She has NEVER been hurt since I've got her either.
I meant to put the temperature it is here but I guess I forgot. It's very warm like around 78 when I fed. It was cool and windy a few days yesterday. So it could be the temperature change.
Also I only have my vets cell number. And she's asleep right now. I'm friends with her daughter but she's also asleep /:
Okay now here's the deal. I wanan try to get as many people as possible to answer this.
If your English "Say I ride English" and state what you do. Same as western "I rider western" then state what you do in western riding.
I wanna see if we get more western over English or English over western. READY GO!
Usually when I ask questions they pop up on the main page but I've tried a few times and my question isn't popping up at all. I usually get answers within a few hours of posting and after a day I got nothing so I deleted it and tried again today but still nothing?
The is the question.

I wanted to know what I can do as I want to ride him this arvo but I don't want to hurt his back.
And of course this one pops right up on the main page.. Temperamental website!
Wanting to get some new ones, but now really sure of the good brands out there...All of my breeches I own now are On Course
My horse doesn't listen to me when we are in my yard just riding around , should I get spurs (bumpers , I don't like the others) just so when I give her a leg cure she will listen to me instead of going were she wants to ? I lunge her before we ride , I ride her in the round pen for like 10-15 minutes to work on neck reining then I try to take her out just to lope her & get better excercise & she just don't listen , would spurs help???? & What I don't understand is she just came back from training in December & I loped her everytime I went out there outside of the round pen !
