Most recources list spider plant (aka airplane plant) (Chlorophytum comosum), as non-toxic in reference to cats and dogs. Because horses are not normally exposed to spider plants, and because they are not normally consumed in equine diets, I would avoid contact, just to be on the safe side.  There is no further research on equine exposure to this plant at this time.
