You may remember earlier this year, my writing about Olympic rider Courtney King and her tragic fall from a young horse, that left her in a coma. Dye thankfully, is on the road to recovery, and while it appears it will be some time before she is back in the saddle competitively, her latest blog entry is very optimistic. In an earlier blog post, Courtney King speculates whether or not a helmet would have prevented her injury. It's true that helmets and other safety gear won't make you invulnerable, but even King says "Wear a helmet". You can read more about King's recovery on her blog, Courtney King Dressage.
