Horse Gestation

This session is part of the Equine Business Conference. Hosted by Michigan State University, University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska, and Iowa State University, the Equine Business Conference will provide horse industry professionals in the North Central Region with information and resources on liability, business finance, marketing, and insurance for equine business owners. This session will focus on using insurance to protect your horse, yourself, and the investment in your equine business. We will discuss the different types of insurance, when they are most useful, and costs associated with each. Specifically, mortality insurance; stallion infertility due to accident, sickness and disease; loss of use; personal horse owner liability coverage; equine commercial general liability; care, custody and control; and insurance options for horse shows and events will be covered.
