For a few years, you would find on the streets of Toronto, Ontario, life size statues of moose painted in spectacular colors.
Photo Jessica ElliotI always thought it odd, since you'd have to drive at least four hours north of Toronto before you were on the southern-most range of moose territory. It makes perfect sense to me however, that the city of Louisville, Kentucky has creatively painted horses out on the sidewalks.
Called Gallopalooza these beautiful sculptures are decorated by artists in celebration of the Kentucky Derby.
